This Pro R has come together over time, with upgrades added gradually as Paul brought it in for service and new parts.
This build came together over time, with each part chosen to keep things clean, functional, and ready for real use. We added parts from DRT Motorsports, Shock Therapy, Rigid Industries, Rugged Radios, and more—each one chosen to keep the build usable and well-balanced. The ProLine wrap was the final touch.
We started up front with a DRT Motorsports front bumper, then added a Rigid light bar to give it serious visibility. We installed a DRT grille and matched it with DRT fender flares, which help manage debris and clean up the front-end profile.
For side lighting, we mounted Rigid pods to a set of Chupacabra Offroad mirrors. Paul was happy keeping the factory windshield and cage, which work great with the rest of the setup.
To tighten things up and give the car more confidence on rough terrain, we went with a full Shock Therapy suspension package:
These upgrades made a big difference in steering precision and high-speed stability. It’s a solid setup whether you’re trail cruising or pushing in the desert.
Inside, we focused on clean functionality. We installed a DRT shift gate and DRT shifter, which give the car a more precise, high-end feel. Then we wired in a Switch Pros panel for accessories, along with an XTC turn signal kit for streetability.
For comms, we set Paul up with a Rugged Radios intercom and headset system, plus a Rugged handheld radio for group rides.
In the back, we installed a TMW spare tire carrier—solid mount, no rattle, easy access. For wheels and tires, Paul went with Valor Alpha wheels wrapped in 35-inch rubber. Good traction, aggressive look, and no clearance issues.
It’s hard to miss the ProLine Wrap on this rig. The wrap adds a sharp, custom visual edge that sets this Pro R apart from anything else on the trail.
