2026 Polaris Xpedition Top 10 Must Have Accesories and Upgrades

Essential Polaris Xpedition Accessories: The Top 10 List

Polaris did something right with the Xpedition. Like, really right. The thing rolls off the showroom floor ready to tackle just about anything you throw at it. But here's the deal - while you don't absolutely have to add anything to your new Xpedition, there are definitely some items that'll make every ride better, safer, and more enjoyable.

I get asked all the time: "What should I add to my new Xpedition?" So I put together this list of the top 10 must-have accessories that I recommend to pretty much every customer who walks through our doors. These aren't just nice-to-haves - these are the items that'll actually make a difference when you're out on the trail.

Let's dive into what made the list.

Essential Tools: SuperATV Tool Roll

First up is something you absolutely need - a proper tool kit. We've tested a bunch of different options over the years, and the SuperATV Tool Roll is hands down our favorite for the Xpedition.

This thing literally has every tool you need, plus room for extras. It's compact, quiet (no rattling around in your storage compartment), and it fits perfectly in the Xpedition. We actually shot a full video breaking down everything that's in this tool roll, so you can see exactly what you're getting.

The best part? Whether you're wrenching in your garage or fixing something on the trail, you've got the right tool for the job. And honestly, this setup works great for any side-by-side out there, not just the Xpedition.

Safety First: Jagged X Advanced First Aid Kit

This one's non-negotiable. Every single off-road vehicle needs a first aid kit, period. Whether it's your side-by-side, your truck, or anything else with wheels - you need one.

The Advanced First Aid Kitย is packed with a couple hundred pieces of medical supplies, and we've done a complete video walking through everything inside so you know exactly what you're getting.

The Xpedition-specific bonus? This kit has MOLLE panel attachments, so if your Xpedition is equipped with MOLLE gear, it mounts up perfectly. Even better, it fits right in the center console. Quick access when you need it, out of the way when you don't.

The Northstar Essentials Bundle

Alright, this next one is technically three items, but we bundle them together because they're all absolute essentials for protecting your Xpedition. We call it our Northstar Essentials Bundle, and it's discounted when you buy all three together.

DRT Motorsports AC Line Guards

Take a look at your Xpedition from the front. See those AC lines right next to the bumper? And the ones up against the firewall? Yeah, they're super exposed. One rock, one stick - and you could be looking at no air conditioning plus some serious damage.

DRT Motorsports came up with a killer solution. It's a two-piece kit that covers those vulnerable AC lines completely. Cheap insurance to protect your car from what could be a really expensive problem.

B's Fab Extended Door Straps

This is actually our number one selling item on the entire website. By a long shot. And for good reason.

If you've tried putting kids in the back seat, loading gear, or even just getting dogs in and out, you know how frustratingly short the factory door straps are. The B's Fab Extended Door Straps give you about six inches more throw, which makes a huge difference.

The cool thing about these is you don't have to rewire anything. They're split loom design - the strap holds the door, and the loom holds all the wiring. You just run your existing wiring through, bolt it back up, and you're done. No unplugging, no actual wiring work required.

Outerwears Pre-Filter for Cabin Air Filter

This one surprised me the first time I checked it. Underneath your hood, there's a filter for the air conditioning intake. We're talking about the filter that goes on top of the factory filter under there.

Even if you're not in a super dusty area, this pre-filter catches an insane amount of dust. I noticed mine after literally one short desert ride - it was already covered. To keep your AC functioning properly and your intake clean, this pre-filter is a must-have.

Recovery Ready: MOJAB Offroad D-Ring Shackle

You need a recovery point, plain and simple. Whether it's pulling someone else out or getting pulled out yourself, you need a solid attachment point.

The MOJAB Offroad D-Ring Shackle fits right in the hitch receiver on the back of your Xpedition. It's super strong, comes in different colors (which is awesome), and you can mount it either horizontally or vertically depending on your preference.

Best part? Like all MOJAB Offroad stuff, it comes with a lifetime warranty. And it includes a bag if you don't want to leave it installed all the time. But honestly, if you're not using that hitch for anything else, you might as well put something functional in there.

Keep the Dust Out: B's Fab Ultimate Floor Plugs

Here's a problem you've probably already experienced - or you will soon. Those factory floor plugs? They're like a quarter turn to remove, which means they come out easily. Too easily. And when they're in, they don't seal worth a damn.

Dust, cold air, hot air - it all comes straight up through those floor holes. The B's Fab Ultimate Floor Plug Kit fixes this completely.

These plugs sit perfectly flush with the floor, but they've got an O-ring on them. I'm not sure if B's Fab would officially call them dustproof, but I will - or at least 99% dustproof. They keep all the elements out while still letting you remove them when you need to hose out the interior.

The factory plugs get lost or pop out. These stay in place and actually seal. If you're buying the Northstar Essentials Bundle, there's an option to add these at checkout.

Stay Charged: Rugged Radios USB/USB-C Dash Plug

In 2025, everything needs to be charged. Your phone, your GPS, your Starlink, iPads for the kids - the list goes on. The Rugged Radios USB/USB-C Dash Plug is the clean solution.

This thing is completely plug-and-play. It comes with everything you need to hook it up through your Pulse Bar system in the Xpedition, plugs right into your dash, and gives you USB and USB-C charging ports exactly where you need them.

But here's the bonus feature - it has a voltage display built right in. You can always see what your battery voltage is at. If you're worried about your alternator, having charging issues, or you're parked listening to music, you can keep an eye on your voltage the whole time. Super handy feature on what's already a must-have accessory.

For 99% of people out there, this is perfect. Easy install, relatively inexpensive, and exactly what you need.

Communication Made Easy: Rugged Radios R1 Radio

If you're not ready to do a full communication system with intercoms and headsets, the Rugged Radios R1 Radio is your answer. Simple, effective communication without the complexity.

This handheld radio is battery powered, but they make versions that plug into a cigarette lighter or the USB port we just talked about. Rugged Radios makes some great mounts for the Xpedition too - you can mount it on the dash, on the A-pillar, either side, driver or passenger.

It's got options for external antennas, longer antennas, and we've done a full video breaking down all the features. But the bottom line is this: if you can get everyone in your group to have one of these, you can cruise all over and stay in communication at a really good range. No headsets required, just simple radio-to-radio communication.

Mount Anything: AJK Offroad Center Dash Panel

Last but definitely not least - the AJK Offroad Center Dash Panel. This was actually the very first versatile mounting panel made for the Xpedition.

It mounts right on top of your center dash, next to where your windshield latches. That dead space, that unused cubby on top of the dash? This panel fills it perfectly and turns it into a functional mounting surface.

It works with RAM mounts, Amazon mounts, factory Polaris stuff - basically anything. It's got different holes, different slots, so you can mount a GPS, an iPad, a phone, a phone charger, a compass - whatever you want. If you need to mount something in your Xpedition, this panel gives you the flexibility to do it exactly how you want.
