This build came together in phases—no electronics yet, just a focus on mechanical upgrades and hard parts. It’s clean, capable, and already stands out thanks to the bold orange powder coat throughout. We put together this Xpedition for Lou with one goal in mind: dial in the suspension, finish the foundation, and leave room for the next stage of upgrades.

Lou’s Polaris Xpedition – SuperATV Long Travel, DRT Details, and a Bold New Stance.
Suspension + Stance
We started by setting up the stance with a SuperATV long travel kit, including their Rhino Axles all the way around. Everything was powder coated in orange to tie the entire suspension together visually.
To dial in performance, we added a Shock Therapy dual-rate spring kit and their ride improvement system, giving the Xpedition better compliance and improved control in mixed terrain. Up front, we installed the SuperATV tie rod setup to match.
Front-End and Armor
Lou chose a DRT front bumper, and we customized it by powder coating all the mesh and tying in a DRT fairlead in orange. There’s room up top for lighting, which will likely come later once electronics are added.
Wheels + Tires
This rig rolls on Valor’s new V15 wheels, and we powder coated the ring to match the rest of the orange accents. One thing we like about Valor wheels—the rings are interchangeable across their lineup, which opens up future styling options.
For tires, we went with 33" Nitto Trail Grapplers, a dependable setup for both trail and desert use.
Side + Rear Protection
A few visual and functional touches tied it together:
- DRT side intake panels
- DRT clutch intake panel
- DRT inner fender guards
- Electric Off-Road rear bumper, powder coated to match
- In the rear, we continued the SuperATV suspension components, giving the car a consistent look and performance front to back.
Interior Touches
Inside the cab, we added a few accents:
- DRT billet door handles, with orange powder coated panels
- Passenger grab handle
- DRT shift knob
- Suede round steering wheel, with orange accent ring
Even without electronics, the cab already feels thought-out and well-balanced.
