Best of Sand Sports Super Show 2025

The 2025 Sand Sports Super Show just wrapped up, and we spent over 12 hours walking the show floor, hitting up every major vendor to bring you the inside scoop on all the coolest products we saw this year. From new storage solutions to suspension tech, this year's show was packed with upgrades for your Pro R, Xpedition, Mav R, or any side-by-side.

Whether you were there or not, this complete guide covers everything we saw at the show. Plus, we're already stocking most of these products at Jagged X, so you can get your hands on this gear.

Suspension & Performance

JRI Suspension

JRI had Billy Slade's car with their rock crawl kit featuring high clearance lower A-arms - they got rid of the shock fork, which is really cool. The car also has a high clearance trailing arm.

For the Xpedition kit, you've seen these in our shop and all of our shop walks. Brandon's putting this kit on his personal Xpedition and we're trying to get him to keep it raw instead of powder coating it because it's literally artwork.

They also had their standard Pro R kit with normal shock fork and lower A-arm.

SDI E-Click Shocks

The SDI E-Click shocks for Xpeditions are very similar to what the Pro R has - it's a fully adjustable shock from inside the cab with a ton of adjustments. The ride is absolutely phenomenal with it. This is one of the best suspension kits you can do and one of the best shock options available.

Storage Solutions

MacDermid Design New Prototype

MacDermid Design had a new prototype Mav R storage box. This is a split design so you can fit your 35-inch tire on it, but if you don't have a tire on it you can split what you store on both sides and it opens up separately.

Just like everything else they make, it's super high quality with dividers, all weather sealed, locking latches. They had a heavy 35 on it and it literally takes no effort with their shock supports.

This is the first prototype - Mav R owners, probably about a month this will be available for purchase.

CageWrx Tire Carriers

CageWrx had their Rev 2 spare tire carrier with a nice new locking mechanism and more expanded steel to secure the tire down. They got rid of the corkscrew style hold down and did a Y strap. Really easy - latches with one hand, unlatches, fits a 35-inch tire for both Pro R and Mav R.

Lighting Technology

Baja Designs

Baja Designs has a new actuator kit that works on all of their existing lights. You can move your light up and down with this actuator and it's a hundred bucks for most lights, some bigger light bars need two. This works on XLs, LP4s, all of it.

They also have an LP6 that is DOT approved with a horizontal line that makes it DOT approved. It will glow amber and then you can hook it up to a normal switch and it'll give you full LP6 power. When you're on the road you do the DOT approved version, when you're off-road you hit that switch you got full power LP6.

Their Factory Amber lens is more of an orange light than amber. They say their regular amber performs better and cuts through dust better, but if you want something that matches factory Tacomas, factory Raptors, this Factory Amber gives you that look.

Litt Industries Lighting Solutions

Litt Industries had spec rock lights that are crazy bright despite being really small, touch dome lights that literally turn on and off with just a touch, and 18-inch chase bars with different strobing options. They showed us some top-secret stuff that's not out yet but will be available soon.

Nacho Off-Road Rock Lights

Nacho Off-Road had new chase lights and their rock lights are really clever - they're like amber running lights, but if you want to use them as rock lights you hit that and they'll be bright white. They're fully adjustable - you can tilt them up and down, flush them out, with bar mount and angled mount options.

Wheels & Tires

Valor Wheels

Valor had a new beadlock wheel in a graphite gray color with matching center cap. For Xpeditions, they showed an eight-inch wide wheel that's not zero offset so it's a little bit forward - it'll still steer pretty good but gives you extra width. They also had a new forged wheel prototype - super strong, super lightweight forged wheels that will be available in all bolt patterns.

Hostile Wheels

Hostile had a new forged wheel coming out for five and six lug, super lightweight. They also have their new cast lineup - blade cut and asphalt wheels. These are coming out first week in November.

Sandcraft Destroyer Tire Recommendations

For Xpeditions: 31-inch, 10-paddle slider paddle (the side cut version) For Pro Rs: 35s in 12, 13, or 14 paddles
For Mav Rs: 14, 15, or 16 paddles in 35s

They recommend these setups because they've been testing them out in the dunes for years and know what works.

Interior & Comfort

PRP Door Bags and More

PRP had a huge booth with tons of products on display, but we wanted to focus on one of our favorites - their 2025 door bags. They have front and rear options with pads built in for your knees for comfort, maximizing storage in the 2025 models. The rear version includes a little net for rear passengers.

It was literally mayhem over by their seats with so many people checking them out and testing them. They also have great inner door skins, and probably the coolest apparel out of anybody at the show with really cool themes and designs on their shirts.

Triple X Custom Seat Solutions

Triple X had a huge display at the show with all kinds of different seats you can sit in, different styles of stitching, different suedes, different leathers, and different colors. You can see everything they offer right there.

Since they're based in Phoenix with us, it's really cool - we can go directly to their shop and pick out custom colors, do custom stitching, and add custom logos. Herbie at Triple X really takes care of us and gets stuff knocked out quick. If you need seats for your car, we have a couple sets in stock and can get you taken care of. If you want to order something custom, we can get something made ASAP.

Audio & Communication Systems

UTV Stereo Stage Kits

UTV Stereo had Xpedition stage kits coming soon with new speakers for the dash, new tweeters, big subs, and head unit control. The whole bed of their demo Xpedition was a stereo box - just crazy levels of audio.

For Mav R owners, they have their rear seat 10-inch sub enclosure - if you have a four-seat Mav R you can run four 10s, one underneath each seat.

They also have a stage six kit for the Kawasaki H2 with a 1600-watt amp using the factory enclosure underneath the passenger glove box with their 10-inch sub fitted inside.

Cardo Wireless Communication Systems

We finally got a good walkthrough of how the Cardo system works. It's a totally wireless intercom with JBL speakers inside that can connect up to 13 people on your individual network using mesh communication technology.

We have these at our shop and keep them charged up at all times so we can mess around with them. The sound quality is really impressive - we've sold quite a few sets and everybody that has them absolutely loves them. The technology is really cool and the audio quality you get is exceptional.

Kawasaki H2 Aftermarket Explosion

The new Kawasaki H2 platform already has tons of products available, showing how quickly the aftermarket is responding to this new machine.

Rugged Radio H2 Systems

Rugged Radio already has mounts made for the Kawasaki H2 with their M1 system, rocker switch intercom mount, and an adjustable switch panel down below that works with different switch options. The system is ready to go, in stock, and available now.

UTV Stereo H2 Audio

UTV Stereo's stage six kit for the H2 features a 1600-watt amp system that cleverly uses the factory enclosure underneath the passenger glove box, fitting their 10-inch sub inside. It includes all the dash switches, tweeters, and a crossbar in the rear for horns.

TPR Xpedition Big Brake Kit - Game Changer

TPR brought one of the most significant Xpedition upgrades we've seen - a complete big brake kit for Xpeditions, both front and rear. If you have a stock Xpedition, you know it needs better brakes. If you have a long travel Xpedition with bigger wheels and tires, you definitely know it needs bigger brakes.

This system uses custom parts they've made, including billet components that adapt some factory parts to fit the Xpedition platform. We talked to them for a couple hours about the technology in this kit, and they've done the research and calculations - this is going to be awesome.

We're really excited to get these in your hands. We're actually getting our hands on a set so we can test it out and let you know what we think. This addresses one of the biggest needs in the Xpedition aftermarket.

They also have a really cool oil fill adapter that makes oil changes much easier - if you know what a pain it is to do an oil change on Xpeditions, this adapter is going to be a game-changer.

Mav R Aftermarket Growth

Black Ops Mav R Ball Joints

Black Ops officially released their Mav R upper ball joints at the show. If you go back to our summer tour video of their shop, we explain why you need these in your Mav R and why they fit better than everybody else's.

Electric Off-Road Design Mav R Products

Electric Off-Road Design had a Mav R front bumper that fits three LP4s, windshields coming soon, and a roof rack with options for two S8s (one on each side) or a plate that covers those mounts for a 40-inch light bar across the top. The system fits with the factory intake and is set up for Starlink mounts and Rotopax mounts up top, plus it's designed for chase bar options.

Factory RZR Race Cars - Pure Artwork

The Factory RZR race cars on display were absolutely gorgeous and super interesting. The carbon fiber body panels are absolutely stunning, and the upper A-arms and technology that SCI and Polaris Factory RZR racing is putting into these cars is amazing.

We've been looking at them for extended periods just seeing different things that make us go "wow." Having built race cars for 15 years and raced them for 15 years, we can appreciate how trick these are. Everything about them is awesome - they're literally artwork.

The technology is crazy and there's so much we haven't even been able to see because we can't open up all the panels and components. We're trying our best to get one of these to our shop so we can do a full breakdown video and show all the cool stuff that goes into a Factory RZR race car.

Show Cars Worth Seeing

RJ Anderson's Sand Slayer

RJ's Sand Slayer was absolutely insane. This thing is incredibly low with Walker Evans air shocks so it's adjustable. It's got ZRP wheels that look like 17s with 35-inch BFG tires, carbon fiber dash and interior, radiators moved to the back, and Sparco seats. It's got chromoly gusseting for the shock towers and might be the most custom Razor here or possibly ever built.

Notable Custom Builds

TMW brought serious heat with their builds. They had a 2025 Pro R two-seater that's absolutely beautiful with Price Design wheels featuring carbon fiber wrap barrels and titanium color. It's got a D&M racing Motec system with a big turbo - if you see this car in the dunes, don't mess with it because it's ridiculously fast.
