AGM Manual Sport Jack Review – A Budget Jack That Doesn’t Cut Corners

The AGM Manual Sport Jack may cost half as much as AGM’s flagship jacks, but don’t let the price fool you—it still delivers where it matters. Designed for UTVs, SxS rigs, and even full-size trucks, this jack is steel-bodied, trail-tested, and surprisingly flexible.

If you're looking for a compact jack that gets the job done without breaking the bank, this one deserves a spot in your tool kit.

Features That Matter on the Trail

Here’s what makes this jack stand out:

  • Steel construction for long-term durability
  • 90-degree input so you can run a drill or impact from the side (instead of top-down)
  • Drill adapter + manual crank included
  • Multiple mounting options, including a hook and flat platform for different vehicles

Whether you’re jacking from an A-arm or a flat crossmember, the setup adapts to your rig.

Testing It on a Long Travel Xpedition

We took the jack out for a real-world test on a long-travel Polaris Xpedition. The A-arms on this car are tubular, which made it easy to find a hook point. Using a drill, we were able to lift the car off the ground quickly—and the jack held solid.

When the battery died, the included manual crank still got the job done. Positioning matters here, but the fact that it gives you a manual option is huge when you're far from camp with no power tools charged.

Built for UTVs—but Handles Full-Size Rigs Too

Even though this jack was clearly designed with UTVs, Razors, and Can-Ams in mind, it’s stout enough to lift a big truck too. That’s part of what makes it such a smart buy—versatility. Whether you're packing light for a desert trip or bringing recovery gear for a group ride, it works across platforms.

Real Value in a Compact Package

The biggest win? The price-to-performance ratio. For a fraction of what you’d pay for a full-size recovery jack, you’re getting:

  • A rugged steel body
  • Multiple lift options
  • Drill + manual operation
  • Trail-tested design
  • Compact form factor

AGM knocked it out of the park again with this one.
